Valero Energy Corporation commits $500,000 to enhance engineering labs

Lamar University has received a $500,000 donation from Valero Energy Corporation to upgrade the Process Control and Unit Operations Labs in the Department of Chemical Engineering, enhancing student training with advanced equipment, including a PetroSkills simulator and a carbon capture system.
