Our research focus is the development of low-cost, low-environmental-impact alternatives for chemistry laboratories which deliver the same content knowledge and skill sets as obtained in traditional laboratory environments. Our most recent efforts have focused on the development of online General Chemistry courses featuring practical hands on laboratories that are both safe and educationally equivalent to on campus laboratory experiences.
