Nutrition students are learning what it really takes to fuel an athlete, thanks to a recent partnership between the LU nutrition and dietetics program and LU Athletics. Athletes say the partnership and nutritional improvements have boosted their performance, both on and off the field.

LU associate professor Dr. Serdar Ilban lead Lamar Opera Theatre through a successful performance of La Canterina, a rarely performed opera adapted and translated by Dr. Ilban.
