The Office of Undergraduate Research is proud to announce the winners of the Sixth Annual Humanities, Arts, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Education & Business Conference.
The day-long event featured a record number of talks - 41 - and seven posters. It was the largest HASBSEB conference organized by the Office of Undergraduate Research. All undergraduate student participants were

from LU. One graduate student, Shankari Mondal Dipti from Jahangirnagar University in Bangladesh, participated.
Awards were given for first, second and third place to students for their oral presentations, and one winner was recognized for best poster presentation. The winners are:

Additionally, the Center for History and Culture of Southeast Texas and the Upper Gulf Coast at Lamar University bestowed three awards for outstanding presentations related to the study of the Southeast Texas region. The winners are:

Dr. Monica Harn chaired the HASBSEB conference, and Dr. Gevorg Sargsyan chaired the poster session.
The Office of Undergraduate Research Humanities, Arts, Social & Behavioral Sciences, Education & Business (HASBSEB) Conference continues to provide a platform for researchers, academicians and other professionals to present research in his or her related field of study.
This conference is designed specifically to promote undergraduate research in these disciplines.
