Starting Time: Members began joining meeting at 12:50 PM.

Call to Order:  1:02 PM.

1. Approval of April 2021 Committee Minutes

A motion was made by Derina Holtzhausen to accept the minutes of April 2021meeting. It was seconded by Eric Shannon and carried.

2. Update of Committee Website

Chair will contact Provost office to update the committee member list.  

3. Discussion of the faculty survey report

• Lamar offered COVID fund to support faculty to purchase devices needed for online teaching.
• Suggestions to offer faculty an option to choose either to have a laptop or desktop at offices.  

4. Discussion of meeting time for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 

Tentative meeting dates on Teams:

• Sept. 16, 2021, at 1 pm
• October 21, 2021, at 1 PM 
• November 18, 2021, at 1 PM 
• February 17, 2022, at 1 PM 
• March 24, 2022, at 1 PM (The fourth Thursday in March 2022 due to Spring Break) 
• April 21, 2022, at 1 PM
