Call to Order:  1:00 PM

  1. Approval of February 2023 Committee Minutes

A motion was made by Elizabeth Sanders to accept the minutes of the April 2023 meeting. It was seconded by Poornima Gunasekaran. The motion passed.

 

  1. Introduce New committee members: Gleb Tcheslavski (Engineering) Faculty Senate Representative

 

  1. February 2022 and April 2022 meeting minutes were updated on our committee website.

 

  1. University Committee and Council nomination and election: started in April 2023

 

  1. Old Business:
  • ChatGPT: updated on the university syllabus for all courses.
  • Online form submission and approval procedure: need to work on reviewing all the forms, simplify the form, if possible, choose the proper software to create the form online, e.g., Formstack, Smartsheet
  • Suggestions for subscription Microsoft Azure, Amazon, or somewhere else for virtual Linux machine on the cloud: need more information and will update next time
