Obscured Realities

Obscured Realities merges the realms of color photography and cinematic composition, presenting a thesis that explores the narrative potential of color within a series of images. This project delves into the interplay between color and subjects within cinematic scenes, utilizing human figures as the central motif. Shot in dimly lit environments, the photographs evoke an eerie or enigmatic ambiance. Through the medium of color photography, Obscured Realities aims to provoke individual interpretations and abstract narratives within the viewer. The series comprises eight images, each printed on 34-inch by 60-inch photo paper, inviting viewers to engage with their unique perspectives and interpretations.
