Curriculum Vitae

Tim Pallone is entering his 18th year in music education. Most recently serving as the first Director of Bands at Iowa Colony HS, the newest high school in Alvin ISD, he has previously taught in Fort Bend, Lumberton, Anahuac, and Port Neches-Groves school districts. Tim has been a Band Director in both middle school and high school teaching in the C, CC, CCC, 3A, 4A, 5A classifications. At every level, Tim’s bands have been consistent First Division and Sweepstakes award winners. In 2017 and 2018, he led the Lumberton HS Band to its first UIL State Marching Band Championship appearances in more than 36 years. 

Tim served as the TMEA Region X Band Chair from 2016-20 and is an active clinician and UIL Concert and Marching Adjudicator. He is a marching band drill writer and design coordinator having written drill/coordinated for more than 20 Texas high schools. Tim’s professional memberships include TMEA, TBA, TMAA, and Phi Beta Mu International Bandmasters Fraternity. 

Raised in Groves, TX, Tim is a Port Neches-Groves HS graduate and attended Lamar University receiving a Bachelor’s in Music (2007) and a Master’s in Music Education (2009). 

Tim is happily married to his wonderful wife Shanea who is a Nurse Practitioner. They are parents to their precious daughter named Maren.
