All resident students are required to purchase a meal plan. Medical exemption requires documentation, on office letterhead, detailing medical condition.
Form and supporting documentation must be submitted no later than the 12th class day for a long semester or the 4th class day for Summer sessions.
Lamar Dining Services can accommodate many dietary needs. Lamar Dining's culinary staff is trained to develop a delicious solution to meet various needs. Box lunches can also be prepared to help with schedule conflicts. If you have a food allergy or need dietary assistance, please contact Dining Services through their website or by email at dining@lamar.edu.
Check with the Dining Services team before filing for an exemption. Meal plan exemption requests will be accepted for fall starting August 1st, for Spring starting December 1st and for summer starting May 1st.
