Lamar University has several accommodations currently in place:

Parking:
For all graduation ceremonies, LUPD makes sure to block off several additional rows to increase the number of parking spaces reserved for accessible parking for any student or guest with a state-issued accessible parking tag.

Unable to use the stairs:
Graduating student activities are located on ground level and there are no stairs for graduates to clime. There is an elevator to the left of the main stairs that can be used to access the main concourse of the Montagne Center. 

Accessible seating:
For graduating students, please complete the accommodation request form to ensure accessible seating at the commencement ceremony.

For guests, all entry portals on the main concourse have wheelchair spaces with regular seating nearby. Accessible seating for guests is limited, please encourage your family and friends to arrive early.
