My name is Hannah Thrash, and I am a double major in Music in the College of Fine Arts and Communication and Forensic Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences. While I really want to be a Forensic Science Technician or go into Crime Scene Investigation, music has and continues to be an integral part of my life. 

Within the College of Fine Arts and Communication, the Reaud Honors College has given me a variety of incredible networking opportunities. I performed my very first gig at an Honors Awards Gala and also performed at a Friend of the Arts meeting, which hosted donors contributing to the College of Fine Arts and Communication. 

These opportunities have helped me remain open to the possibility of performance and even teaching piano lessons on the side in the future.  

Being a part of the honors community also expanded my leadership skills! I became an LU Ambassador and have already participated in fun events that help me connect and bond with my peers and alumni.
