The 2015-16 issue of Writing Texas, a journal featuring the best new work by teachers of creative writing in Texas and members of TACWT, the Texas Association of Creative Writing Teachers. This issue contains fiction, poetry, and nonfiction presented at the TACWT annual conference in Galveston, and this issue also includes photography and visual art by TACWT members.

About the Editor
Lyman Grant has taught at Austin Community College since 1978, also serving in various leadership positions, including Dean of Arts and Humanities. In 2016-17, he will serve as Interim Dean of Communications. He has published poems in many journals and anthologies, including recently The Great American Wise Ass Anthology. Last Work is his most recent volume of poems.
