These poems are an intimate look into the lives of an elderly mother living with dementia. They explore the nature of grief, caretaking, and loss in an honest, heartfelt, yet surprisingly unsentimental manner. The poems are accessible, powerful, and masterfully crafted for their use of precise imagery, narrative power, and emotional depth.
