Odes and Elegies is an anthology of work by poets from all walks of life about the Gulf Coast region of Texas. These eco-poems celebrate the beauty of the landscape, lament its destruction at the hands of climate change and rapid urbanization, bear witness to its natural disasters, and rally for climate justice for all who call this complicated place home. About the Editor
Katherine Hoerth is the author of four poetry books, including Goddess Wears Cowboy Boots, the winner of the 2015 Helen C. Smith Prize from the Texas Institute of Letters. She is an Assistant Professor at Lamar University and Editor-in-Chief of Lamar University Literary Press.
