The Lamar University Ambassadors Program is now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 academic school year. Lamar University Ambassadors are a select group of students who serve the university by getting involved on campus, demonstrating school pride, providing insight into current student culture and sharing what life is like as an LU Cardinal today with alumni and community supporters. “Lamar University Ambassadors represent the study body at official executive level university functions,” said Shannon Figueroa, director of alumni affairs and advancement services. Individuals chosen to be “Lamar Ambassadors work to promote university pride among students, alumni and friends of the university; have a high level of involvement on campus; and are well informed about the university and what it has to offer students, alumni and the community. Lamar University Ambassadors are among the best and brightest student leaders at the university.”
