On Wednesday, April 20, Lamar University will welcome alum Giles Kibbe ’90 to campus to speak about alternative jobs Cardinals can hold with a law degree.
Giles currently serves as the senior vice president and general counsel of the Houston Astros, LLC. He also has served as general counsel for all Jim Crane owned companies since February of 2010. In 2018, Giles was named president of the Astros Golf Foundation and oversees all operations for the Houston Open, including the $33 million renovation of Memorial Park Golf Course where the tournament is held annually.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is set to place on Wednesday, April 20 at 2 p.m. at the Lamar University Social and Behavioral Sciences Building, room 113.
