The Lamar Journal of the Humanities is published at least once annually by the Lamar University College of Arts and Sciences. Papers of interdisciplinary or general interest in the fields of literature, history, contemporary culture, and fine arts are appropriate for submission. Languages accepted are English, German, French and Spanish. Manuscripts, normally not to exceed 6000 words, should conform to the MLA Handbook or the Chicago Manual of Style. Two copies of the manuscript, along with return postage, should be sent to the editors. The editors will also accept electronic submissions if attached as Microsoft Word documents and scanned for viruses.
