  • Field Course Supervisor for Kinesiology Elementary Internships
    Responsible for teaching, monitoring and evaluating Kinesiology (physical education) student Interns during their field experience in elementary schools the semester before Clinical Teaching. Communicating and interacting with the Office of Field Experience in the College of Education and Human Development Department and with cooperating Mentor teachers in the schools. Acquainted with TK20 system. (2014-present)
  • Kinesiology Adviser
    Responsible for advising junior and senior Kinesiology students including keeping track of credit hours taken, courses needed to graduate and evaluating GPA. (2016-present)
  • Program Improvement Review Committee Member
    Assisted in collecting information about the Kinesiology section of the department for the total Department Review which provides more detailed assessments of the Department’s programs and resources. The sections in the Department’s Self-Study are: curriculum, operations, assessment and improvement, faculty, relationships: LU Departments, resources, program information (1. Undergraduate, 2. Graduate) and Program Improvement Plan. Each section included a narrative and supporting data. (Fall 2016)
  • Kinesiology Representative for Educator Planning Committee (EPC) Meetings
    Participate and receive updates regarding the Department. Including advising changes, NCATE updates, department enrollment, student test numbers, areas of concern, etc. (2016-present)
  • College of Education and Human Development’s Homecoming Committee
    Worked with Faculty and Students to attain community sponsors for the College of Education Homecoming Float as well as plan and build the float together. (2016- present)
  • Kinesiology Representative for Spring Preview Day
    Conversed with new students about the Health and Kinesiology Department. Includes answering questions, providing contact information for advisors, discussing general degree plans/programs, explaining educator program requirements, etc. (Spring 2016)
  • Clinical Teacher Supervisor

  • PPR EC-12 Exam Prep Instructor
    Responsible for preparing students enrolled in PEDG 4340 Managing the Early Childhood/Elementary Classroom Environment to take the Lamar University Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities Exam. Instruction covered all domains and competencies within, theory test-taking skills, and practice exams. (Fall 2013)
