Former D.E. Student: Manthan A. Shah

manthan_shah

Manthan received the B.Tech degree in electronics and communication engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University, India, in 2013, and the M.E. degree in electrical engineering from Lamar University in 2015. He is an experienced user of FEKO commercial electromagnetic simulation software. His research interests include development and parallelization of electromagnetic analysis tools, and application of these tools and FEKO to prediction of radar signatures of electrically large objects. He received his D.E. degree in Fall 2021. His D.E. dissertation title was "Radar Cross Section Prediction for Electrically Large Conducting Platforms Using Iterative Physical Optics with Physical Theory of Diffraction". He is working as a Telecommunication Network Engineer at the Wireless R&D Department of Charter Communications (Spectrum) for Orchestra Technology, a subsidiary of LTTS, in Greenwood Village, Colorado.


Former D.E. Student: Babajide A. Salau

Babajide received the B.Tech degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Nigeria, in 2008, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2016. He is a Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) and an expert in electrical design, networking and database administration. His research interests include high frequency asymptotic methods for electromagnetic radiation, mutual coupling and scattering problems. He received his D.E. degree in Fall 2020. His D.E. dissertation title was "Radiation from Monopole Antennas and Their Arrays on an Electrically Large Conducting Convex Surface". He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Howard University for one year. He is working as an RF Engineer at Teleword Solutions, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics America Inc., in Houston, Texas.


Former MES Student: Newaz Sharif

Newaz received the B.S. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh, in 2013 and the M.S. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh, in 2015. He is an experienced user of FEKO commercial electromagnetic simulation software. His research interests include antenna design, simulation and optimization using FEKO. He received his MES degree in Fall 2018. His MES thesis title was "Design, Simulation and Optimization of Pyramidal Horn Antennas". He is working as a System Test Engineer at Qualcomm in Richardson, Texas.
