Jenny Zhou is currently a professor in the Department of mechanical Engineering at Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas. Dr.

Zhou received both her B.S. and M.S. degree in mechanical Engineering from Chongqing University in 1985 and 1988, respectively. In 2003, she earned a Ph.D. degree in mechanical Engineering from University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Her research interests include dynamic responses and vibrations of micro-electronic systems, Plant Biomechanics, multi-scale and multi-physics modeling and research in engineering education.

Dr. Zhou has taught both undergraduate level and graduate level courses such as, Dynamics, mechanic of Solids, Engineering Analysis, Design of mechanisms, Computer-Aided Engineering, Dynamics Systems, Machine Design, Integrated System Design, Senior Design Projects, Applied Numerical Analysis, mechanical Vibrations, and Advanced Dynamics and Control of mechanical Systems.
