A Student Aid Administrator may use Professional Judgment (PJ) on a case-by-case basis to adjust a student’s Cost of Attendance for cost incurred during the applicable award year not listed above. Circumstances that warrant a professional judgment to the cost of attendance include but are not limited to:
How to Apply
Step 1: Fill out the FAFSA
Step 2: Once you receive notification from LU that your FAFSA has been received, login to Student Forms and complete PJ Special Circumstance – COA Appeal Form. You will be required to provide supporting documentation.
Step 3: A Financial Aid Administrator will contact you if more information is needed.
Step 4: You will be notified of the decision via Student Forms. The decision of the Student Aid Office is final and cannot be appealed.
