AMP up our students by being a mentor for our Reaud Honors College community.
Remember when you were an honors student, excited about the world beyond campus, albeit nervous about the next step in your journey?
Help ease the stresses of post-undergraduate life by being a mentor to a current honors student. Our students are interested in networking, internship and job search advice and connections with someone enjoying their career.
Your level of participation is up to you! You can be a contact for internship opportunities at your place of employment. You can engage with students in chats, either one-on-one or in groups. You can offer tours that provide students an inside look at the job and life skills that will help prepare them for success. We encourage creative ideas from you, just as we did when you were an honors student at Lamar University.
