Holistic Healthcare in the Netherlands

This program offers an opportunity for students to study the socialized healthcare system within the Netherlands. Established shortly after WWII, the Dutch system is based upon a culture of "solidarity" where-by every citizen is invested into the system, and receives the same levels of acre in return for similar premiums, irrespective of risk. The areas of aging and vitality, long-term care, primary care, midwifery and innovative approaches to mental health and chemical dependency will all be explored. This program is open to Nursing, Psychology, Public Health, or other Health majors.
