Tuition, Fees and Other Expenses

Other program expenses include textbooks, school supplies, laboratory fees and materials, etc.

Department Course Fees

DPD students will need to purchase their own knives, a lab coat, hat, and apron (approximately $200) which are required for both HOSP 1315: Basic Foods and NUTR 4347: Food Science.

Membership Fees

Students should plan to become members of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Dues are $58 per year.

Students should also plan to become an active student member of Lamar University’s Nutrition and Dietetic Student Organization (LUNDA). Annual membership is $10.
