It is the responsibility of the department staff to contact express courier services to schedule an afternoon pickup.

Weekends and Holidays

The University Mail center is closed weekends and federal holidays.

Cut Off Time(s)

If you miss the cutoff time(s), your material will not be accepted by university Postal employees for the next business day. No first class and/or campus mail remains unprocessed in the University Mail center overnight.

Regular U.S. Mail

Outbound mail collected during the day is processed for pick-up by contract U.S. Postal Services drivers by 4:00 p.m. To receive prompt service these processing times must be followed.

Saturday Delivery

Do not request Saturday delivery as additional charges are incurred. Should you require Saturday service, determine if anyone will be at the delivery destination. Consider a signature waiver to be sure the item is left by the driver. Also, to conserve costs do not use overnight services on Friday. Consider Priority USPS mail for Monday delivery.
