Mangum of Silver Oak Napa Valley signed by owner David Duncan
David Duncan, owner of Silver Oak, has graciously offered a signed bottle to be auctioned at the 2023 Pairings wine dinner. David was disappointed he could not attend the event in person but wanted to provide something special to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the event, as well as celebrate Silver Oak's 50th Anniversary.
750 ml Bottle of OVID signed by winemaker Austin Peterson
OVID is a very small, exclusive winery located on a secluded mountaintop in the Pritchard Hill area of Napa Valley. The winery produces only four estate wines and a small selection of experimental wines never to be made again. In 2012, David Duncan formed a partnership with OVID founders Mark Nelson and Dana Johnson and OVID managing partner Jack Bittner. Due to the small size of this winery, access to their wines can be obtained only by mailing list or high-end retail shops. There is currently a two-year wait to gain access to the OVID mailing list.
The bottle being auctioned at Pairings is signed by winemaker Austin Peterson. Peterson has served as winemaker for OVID since 2010. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a wine to which very few people have access.
