Donna Verret is a retired Registered Nurse, hospital executive and consultant. After earning her ADN and her BSN from Lamar University, she was an Emergency Department nurse in Port Arthur, TX. Subsequently, she was a Department Manager and Chief Nursing Officer in Port Arthur, Amarillo, and Hollywood, CA. In Hollywood, she opened one of the first AIDS dedicated facilities in the United States. In the 1990's, she began her consulting career with KPMG Peat Marwick where she worked with hospitals internationally to enact operational efficiencies. In 2001, she was recruited into Arthur Andersen as a managing partner for the West Coast Healthcare Consulting Division. Subsequent to Andersen's demise, Donna was a senior Vice President with the PacifiCare Health System in Anaheim, CA. She is now happily retired and resides in Tiki Island, TX.
