‘I’m a Beaumont native. My father went to Lamar, my mother graduated from Lamar, my brother went to Lamar, multiple aunts and uncles. I played baseball for Lamar as well…. the instructors there were phenomenal and not only taught you the lessons that you need to succeed academically but also professionally.’
Nick was the bat boy for the baseball team (at Lamar) from ages 7-13. Nick’s father studied under Rolfe and became a photographer in Beaumont. He’s still there in town taking photos. After graduating college, Nick joined the army. After the army he took a position in facilities management.
