‘My mentor, Dr. Jordan got me really excited about space…We had a vacuum physics class and we had to build a clean room, usually it costs about a million dollars. A clean room usually costs a million dollars. We had a $200,000 equipment that needed to be kept in a clean room…we built a clean room with painter’s plastic, PVC pipes, and duct tape and we used a mattress as the air filter at the top and poked holes in it...we built it for only $300. The piece of equipment was operating in our clean room, and it was clean. Go Cardinals!’
