‘I first became an adjunct professor in 2015. I have lived in the area for over 28 years, so, obviously I have been familiar with Lamar University for almost 30 years. Lamar University has had a huge impact on my life because of the employment here. I am very fortunate to have had three different careers, teaching at Lamar, being my final career. The teaching experience has been a pure pleasure and joy to work with the students, staff, and faculty, because it is a very nice place to work. My favorite part is interacting with the students, doing everything I can to help them be successful and particularly being able to watch our students graduate and see them go on to successful careers. It reflects well on themselves and on Lamar.’
