Began working at Lamar University in 1998

‘I enjoy my job. My husband (Mr. Jesse Dorian) works here. Our son graduated from Lamar in 2022. Our daughter is currently studying at Lamar. I have a very good working relationship with all of the people in the advancement office, have a lot of good friends here, like the environment and the culture. I still have a good relationship with Dr. Jimmy Simmons who I met him even before I joined Lamar. I knew him through some of the non-profit work I was doing in the community. Now when I see him at various events, he is always very sweet and I visit with him. He asks what’s going on, asks about my husband, and our kids.’
