‘I completed my undergrad at Texas Tech, and I graduated in May of 2022. And about a month before I graduated, I was looking for jobs within my field. And fortunately, enough, I was able to connect with some of the current athletic staff that we have here at Lamar University. So, I ended up getting a position here at Lamar, and ever since, essentially, I've been associated with Lamar. I've been very fortunate and blessed to be at this awesome university. We have a great president, President Jamie Taylor, and great directors here, Athletics Director Jeff O'Malley. So, we're in a very great spot. Lamar University definitely has great opportunities for future students as well.’

‘Well, getting my first job after my undergraduate degree was frightful. But for me, it's been very interesting. It's been very fun. Lamar University has a great structure, leadership from the very top, runs all the way through the bottom into all the employees and staff, and faculty. So, everybody that I meet from Lamar University, are always happy, they're full of energy. Also, the community itself around Beaumont and Lamar. So just getting the opportunity to get my foot in the door with my degree and being able to grow my career from here and having Lamar University be my first stop is special to me.’

‘I think that Lamar University is a very good school when it comes to engineering, it's the number one school with a return on investment. I always want to encourage kids to follow their dreams and to keep pursuing school. Happy Centennial for Lamar University!’
