‘I knew I wanted to go to Lamar back when I graduated high school in 2010, and I started in Fall 2010, for engineering education. I am just very thankful to be able to have one of the best schools in the nation, kind of in my backyard. With the education that I got from Lamar and the Mechanical Engineering degree that I got, it really help prepare me in my career here, locally, in the area. I'm still in the area, working at one of the refineries. So, I would not, you know, have been able to get maybe that opportunity if it hadn't been for Lamar, and influence it's had on the area. I'm just very grateful and glad and thankful for the quality of education that Lamar has given me with the professors and the campus itself.’
