‘I became a student at Lamar University in 2018, so that I could pursue a degree in accounting. I believe Lamar has  affected  me in a positive way by helping me get connections and develop as a person. I often think about who I was, let’s say, five years ago, and where I’m going now is nothing about what I expected. I really attribute a lot of that to my time here at Lamar. I really love Lamar. I've met a lot of great people here, and I enjoy being here.’
