‘I went to Lamar University in 1969. I graduated from high school in 1968. I run a small Mom and Pop western store and I got a marketing degree at Lamar and it’s helped me my whole life, I am 73 now, in making business decisions. Since I was born and raised in Beaumont, TX, I wanted to get a college degree and work at our Mom-and-Pop store. I accomplished that.’
