‘I really wanted to study  Electrical engineering. So, I came to Lamar, and now I am in my second year. I did my first year at Lamar Port Arthur just to save some money and then I transferred to Lamar University. Lamar University has given me a lot of options, lot of nice people to meet. It’s helped a lot with mental health and everything like that. I think it is a great school to go to. A lot of my friends are with class. I have also been making some friends at work. I work in client computing in the Reaud Building. My job involves going around fixing people’s stuff with computers, installing softwares.’
