‘So, my association with Lamar, originally being from here, does technically start in my youth. I have been to Lamar games before. As a student it would begin in the year 2019 after I transferred from my original/first choice of school Abilene Christian University. Lamar University, to me, has much better professors compared to my first school. The professors in my department, the History Department, have been very helpful in regard to aiding me in researching scholarships as well as becoming published, and its actually through Lamar that I currently have an academic article out.’
