‘When entering in 2006, I was disabled, and because of the Disability Office, Kelly Trayhan was the director at that time, she was so very helpful in obtaining equipment for me that I could really learn in the classroom. I didn't have any problems. I got all the equipment and the knowledge I needed, and I really appreciated that. So, Lamar really assisted me as a disabled student. So, I encourage disabled people to attend Lamar, because they'll do their best at making sure that you're able to be successful as a student at Lamar University.’
