‘I started at Lamar Institute of Technology in 2004 and graduated from there in 2006. I work at Lamar State College at Orange I have been working there for 16 years. I went to Lamar Beaumont for my Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences. I started that in 2019 and I graduated with my bachelors in 2021. Lamar has helped me to advance in my career. I was able to move up from an accounting clerk to an actual accountant in my current job. I did all of my classes online and I am currently going back for my Masters. I just started my first Master’s class, this second eight weeks this spring semester. I do remember when emailed, they were very helpful in understanding because we had flooding in the house. We were able to get funds from the school, so they helped us in that way. The teachers were always very understanding and compassionate. It is an awesome school!’
