‘I started at Lamar University after graduating from Lumberton High school in 1991 then I started the Fall of 91 going to Lamar classes. One thing about college is that you have to bring your own get up and go shall we say because if you don’t go to class, they don’t care. Most of the time I was ditching biology and playing pool in the Setzer center and that made me get a D. …In college, I get in my first semester and made a 1.65. So, then I get to fight that the whole rest of the time up there to get my GPA up. But that’s what happens when you play around.’
