‘I have been involved with Lamar since 2007. It has really set me up for success as far as career opportunities and just the way that Lamar is not a huge university, but you are actually able to form connections and relationships with professors that help you to grow both personally and professionally….I continue to come on campus for different events and when I was there from 2007 to today it is a totally different university, totally different feel. Lamar has really stepped up its game to where it’s competitive with universities that offer great programs; so, I think there is still a lot of people who still don’t give Lamar the full credit that it deserves. I am just a huge advocate for what Lamar offers.’
