‘It was the summer of 2019, after I graduated from high school, I got a letter in the mail saying they (Lamar University) were open for admissions, and I applied and got accepted within the next week or so and after that I started attending as a student that following Fall.’
‘Lamar has impacted me in several ways to say the least, but the most impactful way was that it gave me several friends that I can truthfully say they will be with me for the rest of my life, and that have also impacted me positively going forward, be it church friends or just regular people that were kind to me, and that helped me through some things that I went through while I was on campus.’
