‘I have four older siblings. They've all graduated from Lamar University. I basically grew up knowing that I could potentially become a Cardinal and my brother and sister, they were the mascots. Lamar helped me figure out the person that I've always wanted to be. I just didn't know how I could get there, but now I know. And what I mean by that is. Going into college, I knew I wanted to major in business. I just didn't know what I wanted to do. Now I have a better understanding of what it is that I like to do and how I can make money doing that. It's allowed me to connect with people. Honestly, I've been able to network with so many people. I was able to have my own talk show interview with these students and staff and I was able to just learn more about myself as an individual and professionally as well.’

‘I’m grateful for my experience that I had at Lamar University because, I know I probably wouldn’t be the person I am today. You know, being an ambassador at the university was a phenomenal time that I’ll never forget, and I'm happy to say that I am a Cardinal because initially I wasn't going to go to Lamar. I wanted to go to a larger school to A&M or UT? But I decided that Lamar was the best option and best choice for me and I am happy I made that decision.’
