‘I became a student at Lamar in the spring semester of 2022. I applied to Lamar because Lamar has a good engineering program, and I'm getting my degree in mechanical engineering, and it's a small campus, so I like the faculty-to-student ratio. Since my major is engineering, it definitely has helped me get internships and stuff like that. Just hosting career fairs with local companies and even companies that are maybe an hour away, definitely broaden my horizons as far as a job search.’
